Recent Work

In warmer weather I prefer painting “plein air”, that is outside from life. The summer of 2025  I traveled (and camped) in the American Rocky Mountains for 3 months, painting my way though the some of the best locations in the National and State parks and forests.  Below is a selection of the onsite paintings from that trip.

In addition, I picked up some carving stone in Utah- at Alpine Gem and Mineral,( the alabastor “Chrystolis” Butterfly, and the Shamrock Mine… Honeycomb Calcite “Flow2” whis has been sold.
