Recent Work

In warmer weather I prefer painting “plein air”, that is outside from life. This past year I traveled ( and camped) the Rocky Mountains for 3 months, painting my way though the some of the best locations in the National and State parks and forests.  Below is a selection of the onsite paintings from that trip.

In addition, I picked up some carving stone in Utah- at Alpine Gem and Mineral, and the Shamrock calcite mine… the 2 sculptures below were carved from the stone acquired at these two locations.
